Yesterday, my daughter sent me an email from France that she and her boyfriend were engaged. This is the second time I downloaded a photo from Facebook. The first time was the photo of my one month old grandson with golden retriever sleeping together.

Keiko, How exciting! Congratulations to you and your daughter and her boyfriend. Is this the boyfriend that was helping you cut the trees at your house? I bet you probably had a feeling this would be the one. And they are in one of the most romantic places…how perfect!
Rebb,
Yes, he was the man on my roof. To see them happy makes me happy. All the troubles are behind, and I'm just admiring at their cute faces. Right now, I rather stare at my wall than doing anything else.
Good news Keioko.May god bless them.
Congrats! It is funny how technology has changed things so much. You found out about your daughter's engagement in an email, and I found out about my daughter's engagement last December in a text message. :-)
Jitu,
Thank you, Jitu!
Kristie,
Your daughter, too? Congratulation! About technology, it's funny, isn't it?
What happened was I was checking their photos and making my comment on each photo. My daughter's boyfriend is doing all the work on FB, and his last name with different first names appeared here and there and left lively messages, so I kept clicking a like button on their messages and or adding my short comment. All along, I was thinking they were his brother, in-law, or cousin. It never occured to me that they were his parents!
So, that's how I met his parents, and the fiance was also surprised because, like me, he didn't think of this accident until I introduced myself to his mother on FB. He was probably thinking of scheduling and introducing us later on. So, in a way, maybe this accident triggered their engagement earlier than he had planned, I think.
Congratulations to the couple and the proud mom! :-)
Lu,
Thank you! It isn't my situation, but looking at them makes me sweet.
You have many fun waiting for you, too. Enjoy!
Absolutely wonderful Keiko. Much happiness and joy to everyone.
